The container is supplied with the lid fully assembled. The bin has a fill line within it and the contents must not exceed that line. When the sharps container is full to the fill line, you will need to dispose of the contents responsibly. The 1-litre sharps container must be disposed of every 3 months, even if it isn’t full yet, in order to stop the build-up of potentially contaminated materials.
