Each soft capsule contains 100mg ibuprofen (also contains glucose, sucrose and soya lecithin). Chew before swallowing. Dosing: 7–9 years: two capsules, up to three times in 24 hours; 10–12 years: three capsules, up to three times in 24 hours — give every 6–8 hours (minimum 6 hours). Do not give to children under 7 years. For oral, short-term use only — read the leaflet and consult a doctor if symptoms persist after 3 days. Do not use if allergic to ibuprofen/aspirin or with certain stomach or bleeding conditions; seek advice for asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure or heart, liver, kidney or bowel problems. Nurofen for Children is a paediatric pain reliever and fever reducer designed for short-term use in children aged 7 to 12 years. It is recommended for relief of common childhood aches, pains and fever such as toothache, headache, cold or flu symptoms, and minor injuries. Do not give to children under 7 years. These orange chewable capsules are flavoured and formulated for easy administration. The soft capsule should be chewed before swallowing. Doses may be given approximately every 6 to 8 hours, with a minimum of 6 hours between doses. For 7–9 years give two capsules up to three times in 24 hours; for 10–12 years give three capsules up to three times in 24 hours. Use for oral and short-term use only and consult your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen after 3 days. Each soft capsule contains 100 mg ibuprofen as the active ingredient. Do not take if allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin or related painkillers, or if you have had recurrent stomach ulcers, perforation or bleeding. Do not take with other NSAIDs or aspirin above 75 mg daily.
