Bronchostop Junior Syrup 120ml
Bronchostop Junior is a soothing syrup designed to relieve cough-related throat irritation in children. Suitable for children aged 3–11 years. Use in children under 1 year of age is not recommended. The product is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Do not use if allergic to marshmallow, honey or any of the listed ingredients. This gentle, strawberry-flavoured syrup is free from artificial colours, lactose, gluten, alcohol and genetically modified ingredients.
Bronchostop Junior contains preservatives (methyl-4-hydroxybenzoate and propyl-4-hydroxybenzoate), which may rarely cause allergic reactions. If symptoms persist or worsen after 5 days, or if dyspnoea, fever or purulent sputum develop, seek medical advice.
Composition (per 15 ml): 143 mg marshmallow dry extract and 750 mg honey. Other ingredients include xylitol (2.76 g per 15 ml; calorific value 2.4 kcal/g and may have a laxative effect), xanthan, glycerol anhydrous, citric acid, strawberry aroma, methyl-4-hydroxybenzoate, propyl-4-hydroxybenzoate and purified water. Each 15 ml provides approximately 0.3 carbohydrate units.
Due to its honey content, patients with rare hereditary fructose intolerance or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this product. Take other medicines 30 minutes to 1 hour before or after using Bronchostop Junior. Discontinue use immediately if an allergic reaction occurs.
