Softclix Lancets
Softclix Lancets are designed for safe and convenient capillary blood sampling and are recommended for people managing diabetes who use blood glucose metres. They suit anyone requiring regular fingertip testing — including those with varying skin thickness — and are intended for use with the Accu‑Chek Softclix lancing device to ensure accurate and comfortable sampling. These lancets feature a protective cap and are easy to load into the Softclix lancing device. Follow simple steps: wash and dry hands, remove the device cap, insert a new lancet until it clicks, twist off the protective cap and replace the device cap, select the penetration depth to suit your skin, press the device to the side of the fingertip and press the release button to obtain a blood drop. Apply the drop to a glucose test strip and follow your metre’s instructions. After use, remove the lancet and dispose of it in an approved sharps bin. Never reuse a lancet. For single use only — do not reuse lancets as this may cause infection or inaccurate results. Use only with Accu‑Chek Softclix lancing devices to ensure correct operation. Keep out of reach of children; lancets are sharp and can cause injury. Do not use if the protective cap is missing or damaged, as sterility may be compromised. Temporary mild discomfort, stinging, minor bleeding, bruising or skin irritation can occur. Infection risk increases if a lancet is reused or handled improperly. When used correctly, Softclix Lancets offer reliable, safe sampling for routine glucose monitoring.| Directions |
